iProv, LLC Releases First Product To Market With More To Follow
LITTLE ROCK, AR (June 28, 2005) –iProv, LLC, a Little Rock-based application development company, released its first product to the market June 24 and has plans for more to come.
WheresTheFreeSpace, a disk space management software (www.wheresthefreespace.com) was partially funded through the Arkansas Science and Technology Authorities TTAG grant. The application, made exclusively for Mac users, tells them exactly which files on their hard drive are taking up the most space. Bar graphs help to quickly pick out the major space hogs and direct access is given to erase those that are unimportant or space wasting. Navigation through the software is easy and the interface is extremely user-friendly. WheresTheFreeSpace can also be used to sort files by user and generate printed disk usage reports. Furthermore, users can sort files by type to include or exclude in their search.
iProv started four years ago by the brother and sister team of RJ and Roxane Martino. Focusing mainly on web applications, the company has recently shifted to a product-driven environment by using the services they provide to fund their product development. The team is now developing the second and third of its products with plans to be a full-blown software development company within the next five years.
“With the release of this first product we are hoping to give iProv a name in the software development field. We are confident that with this and the other projects we are currently developing, it won’t be long until iProv is a major player,” said iProv Project Manager, RJ Martino.
